Path of the Gods

We visit the beautiful temples in south India to deepen your meditation. Your journey begins in Goa at the Khama Kethna Treehouse Resort.
You will see Hampi with its imposing ruins and palace fragments, is a dream turned into stone between sugar cane fields and impressive granite formations. Then we visit the Lotus Mahal, Queen Bath, Hazara, Narasimha and Vitthala temples.
The temple city of Aihole is the birthplace of Indian temple architecture with the oldest religious buildings in India. In Badami, the capital of the Chalukya dynasty in the cultic caves masterful tantric sculptures reconnect us with the original tantric vision.
In Bijapur we find impressive monuments of the Adil Shahi sultans and gleaming minarets in the most beautiful scenery.

Goa 10-11 February 2019

The flights arrive early in the morning on 10 February in Goa and the booked shared taxi brings you to Agonda at sunrise.
In the Khama Kethna you spend the night in creatively designed tree houses high among the trees in rooms that are harmoniously integrated into nature.
Goa connoisseurs appreciate the fine sandy beaches, the relaxed atmosphere, the tropical sunsets and the happy people.
Hampi 11-13 February 2019
After breakfast we will go by taxi to the temple city Hampi. We stay in a deluxe room at Hotel Royal Orchid Central, Kireeti.
The next morning we will explore the imposing ruins and palace fragments, which are often said to be a stone-made dream.
Then we take time to explore the Lotus Mahal Pavilion, Queens Bath, and the Hazara, Narasimha, and Vitthala Temples.
Badami 13–15 February 2019

We leave Hampi and drive towards Badami, the capital of the Chalukya dynasty. In the afternoon we take a trip to the nearby temple city of Aihole, the birthplace of Indian temple architecture. These temples are the oldest religious buildings in India.
We also visit the nearby capital Pattadakal, a UNESCO cultural monument and paradise for archaeologists and hobby historians. Then we return to Badami and stay at the Heritage Resort in a cottage room.
The next day, we explore the Hindu and Jain Cults of the Chalukya in the south of the city. Particularly impressive are the erotic reliefs and Tantra sculptures.
Bijaipur 15–16 February 2019
In Bijapur you will find impressive monuments of the industrious Adil Shahi sultans, gleaming minarets and other examples of Arab monumental architecture in the most beautiful landscape.
We spend our last night of this trip at Madhuvan International.
Bijaipur to Pune 16 February 2019
Today we take the mini-bus to Pune. There you can spend another week at the OSHO International Meditation Resort, take a return flight or explore India on your own.
