Accommodation in Bodhi Bhavan
The main house with the sleeping rooms lies in the middle of the terraced land.
The rooms with attached bathroom are individually designed with elegant simplicity. There are two room categories as rooms are slightly differing in either size or view. Some have a private terrace from where you can enjoy the tranquility of the garden.
It is a special experience to sleep in tent-rooms under the vastness of the night sky in the garden.
Meditation hall with breathtaking views
The beautiful Bhavan Meditation hall at the highest point of the hill is surrounded by untouched nature. We can hear bird chirping and the sound of the wind in the trees.
The room has a clear, friendly and beautiful atmosphere. The wall facing the valley has generous glass doors that can be fully opened.
You have a breathtaking view over the hills and the landscape of Portugal.
Lovingly prepared Vegetarian meals
An experienced cook prepares organic and tasty food.
He has years of experience in cooking plant-based cuisine for workshops and spiritual festivals. There will be vegan and gluten-free options.
The living room is the heart of the house. This room has a front, opening up to the patio where we eat together in a cozy atmosphere around the big table.
Refreshing Swimming-pool
There is a splendid refreshing swimming-pool where you are allowed to swim and sunbath naked.
Natural spring water comes out of the mountain on different locations and provides a welcome refreshment on hot days.
Around the pool is a chill-out area with sun beds and shade, where we can meet or chill in the breaks.
Trips to the Surroundings
A popular destination are the cliffs of the Algarve near Portimao with the picturesque rock formations.
Visit the picturesque city of Faro and the fascinating lagoon of Rio Formosa, a nature reserve that can be navigated by boat or kayak.
Tavira has a beautiful old town. Next to the old church on the hill there is a romantic restaurant overlooking the town.
